On a rainy day in September, 10 Model A's and 9 other cars drove up through the eastern Iowa country side to have lunch at the famous Breibach restaurant in Balltown, which we visited the year before. The funny thing was that shortly after the previous visit the restaurant burned down and the new restaurant was built with community support on the same spot. What's more is that shortly after we visited the restaurant in 2008, the restaurant burned down again.

Dennis and Elaine Zuber lead this caravan through some very beautiful scenery, even though it was raining most of the day. After our lunch we drove back through Anamosa, Iowa and viisited the National Motorcyle Museum, Daly Creek Winery, and many antique shops all located in the downtown area. The Tour Committee has determined that for a tour to be Official it must have at least one ice cream stop, so the 2008 Fall Color Tour ended at the Dairy Queen in Marion.
